Westpoint Main ArenaGod poured out his blessing again at Westpoint for the Apex Family along with 1800 others committed to worship and togetherness. A sense of humour showed through too...

A three hour drive and a torrential downpour through Dorset did not dampen the spirit. The level of organisation and order shone through from the outset as we drove onto the site with all church pitches set up in dedicated areas helping each other and lending airbed pumps for those who ran out of puff!. This was Spirit filled togetherness and I felt it already.

Worship was amazing.

As I walked into the main arena I could feel the presence of God through great sound and worship leading. Terry Virgo is our speaker bringing the word with such presence!

On day three, worship was in full swing. The Holy Spirit filling the arena then suddenly the lights go down and the music fades to nothing. A loud automated voice speaks “Ladies and Gentlemen you must leave the building” For a second there I thought it was going to say “God has left the building!” Of course not...This was just a reminder of how well the TaW team dealt with any issue. Shortly afterwards we are back in the Arena filled once again.

Family time at the GaziboFamily time gathering around the Gazebo with tea, coffee & munches was also fun. Football was the name of the game. There was a magnet on that football that pulled it towards the gazebo on several occasions and even when the ball crashed into the very centre of the cooking table shocking those around it and breaching Rule Number One, no harm was done! Snap happy Bob capturing moments to remember.

Our invite to Hook Covenant Church BBQ

This event was a focal point of New Frontiers and a place for questions to by answered. Genesis, Creation and Evolution clarified by Colin Mitchell in a Bible Teaching clad in a dressing gown around our gazebo will live long in my memory.

Already looking forward to the year ahead and TaW 2012,

Rob.
