On Thursday mornings during term time the Apex ‘Noah’s Ark’ Mums and Toddler Group is well and truly established in the mission hall. They’ve only been going for 4 weeks and attendance has grown to 23.

Marilyn, Sarah and Hannah are doing a magnificent job providing a colourful, friendly environment with lots of stimulating activities for the toddlers. One mum commented, ‘I like coming here because it’s so friendly and calm’. Every week there’s a different theme. In the photograph you’ll see the children intrigued with butterflies on loan from Butterfly World (used with permission). Marilyn explained the life cycle of a butterfly. The children were able to handle intricate, empty chrysalis cases.

Everyone was fascinated to see several varieties including a large Owl and beautiful Lace butterfly. 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' will never be the same again!

Noah's Ark runs Thursdays 10am - 12 noon at St' Faith's Church, Newport Road Cowes. For more information contact Marilyn on 240795.
