Together at WestpointTo be honest I was not looking forward to camping at Westpoint, partly because of being 33 weeks fat (sorry pregnant!), but the thought of camping with a weather forecast looking so wet and windy it didn't look good. But I can honestly say we all enjoyed it and had a great time. I really believe God blessed us weather wise, the downpours predicted never happened and then God blessed us so much more.

We came, we saw and we put up a tent that we'd not used before!

The kids had a great time. To quote Bethan, "Hurry up we're going to be late", she never hurries anywhere! But they had such a good time in their groups. Bethan said she felt God gave her a picture on the last night, Josh talked about feeling the Holy Spirit as he danced around in the main meeting and Tabi heard children in their group speaking in tongues, something she was blown away by.

Together at WestpointAs for Rob and I being in a huge gathering of people from the South and South West region gave us such a sense of being part of God's plan down here in the Isle of Wight. Worship was fantastic and the preaches were full of God's truth, encouragement and passion to see His Kingdom advance locally and globally.

Definitely going next year, just working out the logistics of taking a 10 month old baby, but Bethan says she's happy to look after him! I would really encourage others to come, the time spent just chilling out with the Traceys and Ganlys was great. There are so many opportunities to spend time with one another, to get to know each other more, try out football skills you never knew you had and for the kids to go off in a safe environment making new friends and having fun.

If your immediate reaction to the thought of it is 'you'll not get me there' then I believe you'll definitely be there next year!
