The E100 Bible Reading Challenge is a national incentive based around 100 carefully selected Bible readings (50 from the Old Testament and 50 from the New Testament) designed to give participants a good understanding of the overall Bible story from Genesis to Revelation. The 'E' stands for Essential and each of the Essential 100 readings ranges from a few verses to a few chapters.

Rick (from the Apex Church support team) says...

Its taking off around the churches and having had a look at it seems good if individual people wanted to take up the challenge to read and understand the 100 essential stories which explain the BIG story of God's plan. What's good is its done by readings and not days with a suggestion of 5 a week and no more than two chapters at a time and every so often there is a catch up week!

Up for it?

To take The E100 Bible Reading Challenge, follow these simple steps:

  1. Find a Bible translation that is easy for you to understand.
  2. Set aside a special time and place to read the Bible each day.

  • READ: the Bible passage for the day, perhaps more than once.
  • REFLECT: on the passage. Write your thoughts in a journal.
